I am fascinated with the valence of beauty and fashion that shapes society’s view of femininity and female image. In my photography, each composition presents the urgency of the subject at hand, while each color reflects the emotion of the message. In this project, the two protagonists represent different perspectives and consequences of the fleeting nature of societal views of beauty—Eurocentric standards of beauty. The viewer is left to ponder the question—what defines beauty?
